Give Your Game a Glow-Up

Your game has been hibernating all winter and she’s ready to come out and play. Just like the rest of us, she might need a little love and attention before she’s ready for primetime. At Cottage Golf & Social Club, we believe a "glow-up" isn't about buying a more expensive driver (although…why not?) or punishing yourself with 500 range balls (ouch). It’s about intentionality, aesthetics, and mental clarity. It’s about moving Beyond the Swing.

As we head into the Portland Golf Show this weekend (March 6–8), we’ve put together the ultimate March Glow-Up Checklist to help you transition from the couch to the course with confidence.

1. Curate Your Carry

For the Swing Stylist who knows that when you look good, you play better.

  • The Bag Audit: Empty every pocket. Toss the old receipts and the broken tees.

  • The Groove Scrub: Clean your clubs. There is something meditative about restoring your equipment to day-1 condition.

  • The Signature Accessory: Visit our Glow-Up Station at the Golf Show (Booth #452) to fill a boutique accessory pouch with your season essentials.

2. Dial in Your "Lab" Work

For the Drill Diva who loves the process as much as the result.

  • Yardage Check: Book a simulator session at our Beaverton studio. Do you actually know how far your 7-iron goes in 50-degree weather? Let’s find out.

  • The Mobility Reset: Spend 10 minutes a day on shoulder and hip openers. A fluid swing starts with a fluid body.

3. Protect Your Peace

For the Zen Seeker who uses golf as a sanctuary.

  • Set Your Intent: Before you even hit a ball, ask yourself: How do I want to feel on the 18th green?

  • The Breathwork Baseline: Practice a 4-second box breath. It’s the "Reset Button" you’ll need when the first-tee jitters arrive in April.

4. Build Your Board of Directors

For the Social Strategist who knows golf is better with a squad.

  • The Social Calendar: Text your golf besties today. Don't wait for the sun to stay out; put a "Cottage Happy Hour" or a simulator date on the books now.

  • Find Your People: Saturday at the Portland Golf Show is women’s day. Come to the Cottage booth to meet fellow players and join a community that values connection over scorecards.

Meet Us at the Show:

We are transforming Booth #452 into a sanctuary amidst the noise of the Expo Center. Come take our Golf Persona Quiz, style your own Birdie Bottle at our sticker bar, and leave with a mantra card that will carry you through your best season yet.

Your game has been waiting all winter for this. Let’s make it glow.
