KAT GERRISH

PGA Associate
Kat is a PGA Associate and has been coaching at Cottage Golf since our 2022 opening. She played Varsity golf at Beaverton High School and NCAA D1 Golf at Santa Clara University. Kat has a wealth of knowledge and experience with golfers of all abilities and is known for creating an approachable environment in the studio. With her positive influence and commitment to empowering women of all ages, Kat is sure to make golf fun and bring out your best on and off the course.

Kristi Owens
Yoga Instructor
Kristi is a yoga teacher specializing in mobility, recovery, and mindfulness for athletes. With a lifelong background in sports, she understands the importance of building strength, balance, and resilience in the body to support performance and longevity. Kristi combines mobility-focused yoga, breathwork, and meditation to help golfers improve movement, prevent injury, and stay mentally focused on and off the course. Her supportive and approachable teaching style helps students feel stronger, move better, and develop greater confidence.
KATYA KURKOSKI
Assistant Professional
PGA Associate
Katya joined Cottage Golf in 2025. She is a PGA Associate and splits her time between Cottage and Rock Creek Country Club. She played Varsity golf at Jesuit High School and NCAA D3 Golf at Whitman College where she was a 2-year team captain. Playing competitive junior and collegiate golf over the last ten years has given Katya an extensive knowledge of modern swing analysis technology and a deep understanding of the mental game. Katya brings joy and energy wherever she goes, and loves sharing her passion for the game and igniting that passion in others.

ALISON TAKAMIYA
Part-Time Instructor
Epson & All Pro Tour Player
Alison Takamiya grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and has been playing golf since she was five years old. Alison played NCAA D3 Golf at George Fox University where she won an individual National Championship as well as a team National Championship. She has been named Player of the Year multiple times and 2026 will be her rookie year on Epson & Women’s All Pro Tour. She is a part time coach for Cottage Golf and loves sharing her passion with others. Alison has a calm, patient and reassuring demeanor. Don’t miss her short game clinics for a little greenside magic.
